have you heard ....there is a place for us          thank goodness for this site.i have learned so much.i have decided to do the RNY instead of the lap band.i think i am to big i need to just go for the big fix.i know alot of people that have had one or the other done and all seem happy with their choices.so i wait for ins.i had my husband get me on his tricare because my school board ins. doesn't cover any WLS.si i have to do the 30 day wait.but i hear it is a good ins.so here i go...wait p.s. here i am 9/8/07 and i am updateing because i learned even more and have decided to go DS and not rny.it just makes so much more sense.i love that we have a place to go to find out what is out there for us,and make informed decisions.

My Story

i have been overweight all my life.i was round 200 until i got pregnant with my first child and then i exploded to 300 .i stayed there thru all 7 of my pregnancies.i got a job in 2000 that i drive all day and i have gained 75 lbs in the last few years.wow i really can't believe how huge i am.i lose 50lbs every year and gain it back just when i start to feel better.go figure.but i have read here that seems to be typical of alot of us.we have so many commonalities with all our differences.anyway i have the ball rolling and hope it goes fast and i am on the loosers side soon.
