A little over a week post-op

Well its been a little over a week and I am down 21 lbs.  I am feeling good about everything and i am handling the eating the new way and food choices a lot better than I thought I would.  Amanda is doing a lot better than she was at first as well.  I am hoping for nothing but positive changes for the both of us.
As far as the surgery, mine only took a little over an hour and the doc had nothing but positive things to say.  As far as recovery, i was amazed at how well I did and so was everyone else including the doc.

As always the the doc's office and my own has been great and i wish them nothing but the best!!!

My Story

Hello I am a 29 y/o male currently residing in Tampa, FL.  I am married and have been for a year.  I am a law student and work for the federal government as a clerk for four federal judges.  I am signed up to confer with a surgeon about a long-wanted lap band procedure.  I currently weigh 420 and i am about 6'0 tall.  I want to lose this weight to return to a more normal lifestyle.  I have attempted to lose this by diet and training with a personal trainer but hit a plateau that never moved.  Wish me well as i wish the best to all with the same or a similar scenario.
