Hello. I have been overweight for as long as I can remember....well I think I was fairly normal when I was 5. I am now 35 and sick of being heavy and tired and achy. So I chose to have the lap-band and I'm lovin' it.

Shaving my head

I am shaving my head for charity. On March 15, I will have ALL of it sheared off in solidarity with kids with cancer for the St. Baldrick's foundation. I am donating all of my hair to Locks of Love.

I had surgery 9/19/07. Yesterday was 4 weeks out and I had lost a total of 24 lbs. I go back to the doc on 11/1 and hopefully get my first fill. But I don't count on it, she said "maybe" I would be ready for a fill then. I'm ready NOW!
