Surgeon TestimonialJoao Marchesini, M.D.I'm back to square one. I'm being laid off, which changes everything. Instead of waiting twelve months for insurance approval under COBRA (due to insurance-required diet monitoring), risk battling a NEW insurance company over coverage, or wait a year for FMLA to kick in again, I've decided to go ahead and self-pay while I'm unemployed.
I've decided to go with Dr Marchesini in Brazil. I like him for several reasons - he's very polite in his emails, he answered my questions, and addressed problems he foresaw from my emails, wanting to confirm whether or not I was ready for surgery. He didn't just rush into it, but took the time to make sure I was prepared.

... I hope
you're as proud of
yourself as WE are
of you. You've been

who has in many ways
surpassed her

grown in many more
ways than you've
shrunk -- and that's
a heck of a lot.
And as far as the
other horizons you
wish to explore, you
may need to go
outside your comfort

within your reach
... A year from
today you'll be
posting about this

Have you been to Blackthorne Bay?
I've recently started a new activity - selling items on Ebay (www.blackthornebay.com) - and I must say it's an interesting learning experience. It can take me hours right now to put everything together for one listing because I'm trying to experiment, research and see what's going on.
I'm sure eventually it will get to be second nature, but for now it's a time-consuming but interesting endeavor. I sold my first item tonight since the store launched on Friday. I was so excited when I got the email!
