Hi, I'm 36yrs old. I have been overweight my whole life. I really wasn't devastated by it until I started having aches and pains. After that, shopping wasn't fun. My fashion scene flew the coop and has only recently returned. lol! I am getting the surgery because I am tired and hurt all the time. I miss playing volleyball, going shopping and fitting in theatre seats comfortably. I haven't flown in 4yrs because I don't think I fit anymore.Right now I'm waiting for insurance approval. My Story I have completed my 6 mos for bc/bs nat'l and have been waiting for insurance approval for 2wks. Dr Moen @ gbmc will do my surgery. I'm really excited. I started this process back in 03 but got laid off from my job and the insurance ran out. I started my new job in oct 05 but had to be her for 1yr in order to go on short term leave for surgery. But persistence has paid off and now I wait.

At long last I have a surgery date 06/29/2007. This is not the time frame I was hoping for. |
