Surgeon TestimonialGlen Moore, M.D.Dr. Moore has been nothing short of fantastic. He is very nice and he knows everything about the surgeries available. I wish I had a chance to meet with him more often than I did, but the surgery went perfectly and that's the most important thing. He has been so supportive and helpful with all my questions. He genuinely cares about all his patients and wants them all to succeed. I would recommend him to everyone.
As far as the practice as a whole, he has a wonderful staff. Missy & John are human encyclopedias about before & after care. They were always very kind and concerned. Missy even remembered who refferred me to them and they have a lot of patients. I was informed of everything in advance. They require you to go to a support group, psychologist, nutritionist, get lab work, and really apply yourself before you can even get your surgery scheduled. They have all your after care appointments set up for you and expect you to committ to showing up years later. It's a lifelong partnership.
It's no joke and they make sure of it. I couldn't have been in better hands.

I can't believe I didn't post on my surgiversary on July 24, 2007 7:14 am
I posted on my boards about the entire experience so I won't write it again. I'm just very happy where I'm at. 104 pounds gone forever. I've still got 6 more months to lose 16 more pounds for the Doc's goal and 26 for mine. I have no doubt that I will make it.
All of you know how grateful I am to you for all the support and ears you lent during the last year and a half. I love you all!
P.S.
Congrats to Crystal & Christine as well. They are best Date Twins I could ever have! That would make us triplets, I know. I'm just weird like that. You guys are the greatest!!!

Kickin' butt on July 13, 2007 11:49 am
Wow have I been getting back on track. It's only been 3 days of serious power walking, but its working. I've recently been inspired to get back in gear due to the attention of a boy, hehe. Whatever reason, I don't care. I just want to complete the challenge I asked for almost 1 year ago. I've only got 16 pounds left till Dr. Moore's goal and I really wanna do it. I didn't even think it was obtainable by a year and I know I'm not going to reach it in 6 days, but I'll be much closer than the 18 months I was told it would take.
I'm very happy and I think you can see it.
