Surgeon Testimonial

Subhash Kini, M.D, FRCS
I will meet with Dr. Kini Wednesday June 13th for my first appointment. From what I understand he has everything within Mt. Sinai so hopefully that will expedite the process.
Member Interests
All my pretests are complete and now I have my date----AUGUST 10TH!!!!! Now Dr. Kini's office is going to submit it to the insurance company for approval---ah please let Empire approve me right away :)

Consultation coming this Wednesday

I am a little nervous. I have my consultation coming up on Wednesday with Dr. Kini and Mt. Sinai in NYC. I am not sure what to expect and I'm not sure what the time frame is on getting approved and actually having the surgery done. My fiancee isn't exactly thrilled with the whole idea of me having surgery. He's worried about complications and such. If anyone has any tips on what to expect at my consultation it would be much appreciated.

My Story

I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. I was a chubby girl, but still particpated in soccer during middle and high school. Once I grafuated I started to get bigger and bigger. It's my dream to be able to go into a normal store and get normal sized clothing. I am so over Lane Bryant and all the other stores. Also this january my bf and I got engaged, so that is motivation for me as well to lose wight so I am not a fat bride. I have my consult scheduled and hope this process moves along pretty fast so I can start losing!
