3 Years Out
Hello all I am now 3 years out and what a year it has been. Shortly after my 2 year surgiversary I found out that I was pregnant. I delivered my precious Jordyn Elizabeth on March 4th. This has truly been the blessing of this surgery. I had it primarily so that I could carry my daughter (yes I always knew I would have a girl) in a healthy body. Of course there was weight gain of about 43lbs, but I can say 30 of it dropped off in the first month. The rest has been a challenge but I know that my tool works as well as it ever did. So I'm going back to basics and what works. My goal for this year is to take off the rest of the weight I need to lose so that I can have my plastics next summer. This surgery has and will continue to be the best thing I could have ever done for myself. I don't have much time to get on the boards as I would like but my support is always there in spirit.
