Time's flyin!!

So I had my appt with the surgeon's nurse this past Friday (9th). It was very nice. I talked to a lady at the business office about my insurance and everything, and it turns out that she had the surgery last year! She said she is very happy with it and that I would LOVE my results! Then I went up to the nurse, and she asked me a butt-load of questions to decided if I needed any more tests done before the surgery. She decided no. So then I went off to take my 'before' picture! That was exciting! I know I have 3 1/2 months left to finish my weight loss program, but taking that pic just made it all seem real! I am actually gonna get this surgery and change my life FOREVER! I just can't wait. I am learning everything I can about it so I can be fully prepared when my time finally comes! YAY!!

I know some people have been asking me about my new job as a CNA so I just want to let you all know that I had orientation all this week, and I start on the floor tonight! 11p-7a.  I might be tired tomorrow, but we shall see. TTYL OH fam!!

2 months down, 4 to go!

I had my 2 month appt for my weight loss program yesterday! It has went by so fast!! But I still have 4 more to go! I come on this site EVERYDAY to read and learn about this surgery. I have learned so much, and as much as I complain about having to wait this 6 months it has been an eye opener for me. Its the holiday season so these last few months should fly! (hopefully)  I asked my PCP what she was recording for my weight loss and she said; height, weight, BMI, temp, BP, and my eating habits and exercising.  I think that should be good for my ins comp right??

Today I have my first appt with my surgeon's nurse! I am excited about that! I don't know what they will be doing, but I do know that its s step closer to me having my surgery! Woohoo! Thanks OH fam for all your support! It means much more to me that I can express.....

Dang kids!!!

So I got my feelings hurts on Friday!! We have biblestudy every friday, and I was watching the kids (taking nursery) while biblestudy was going on. Afterwards this little boy was telling me why he had cried earlier that evening. I told them that he didn't have to cry, and then he looks up at me and says 'You're fat!'.....  I wanted to punt that little boy across the state of Texas!!! He is only five, but dang it, that hurt my feelings!! Its been so long since I been called fat! But I'm over it now. I just wanted to share that with you guys! In a few months I will never be called fat again!!!! LOL!!
