I only have 3 days left until I can turn in everything to my insurance company for my final approval! I am sooo excited! Malie said she just needs to get Dr. Symmonds to sign off on my history and physical that I had done in November. I guess what she sent in with the surgeons nurse signature wasnt't enough for them. So she is gonna have the surgeon sign it and resend it. She is going to send my pics from 2007 whenever I fax her the last of my 6 month diet, which I will be doing Monday! I am sooo happy that the waiting period is almost over! I will have completed everything that Bluecross Bluesheild of Alabama requires for me to be approved for the RNY gastric bypass so there shouldn't be any problems getting approved. But of course I am still so nervous! Thanks so much for you guys support! It means so much to me!

After the business office of the hospital turned in all of my info too early I recieved a letter from  my insurance company saying that I was not approved because they needed my completed 6 month diet, my med records from 2007, and the history and physical from the surgeon. Well I sent in my wedding pics from Jan 2007 along with other documents to back up the pics. And I will be done with my 6 month diet in 10 days!!   The only thing I am/was worried about is the history and physical from the surgeon. I did that already in November, and they turned that in with the info they sent in. So I don't know what else they need. But the lady I am working with in the business office (Malie) called me the other day and told me not to worry about that part. She will talk with Dr. Symmonds and they will figure out what exactly to send in since I did do it. All she told me to worry about was finishing my 6 month diet and faxing that to her so she can send everything in at once! So in 10 days everything will be turned in for my final approval! I am beyond excited!!!

This morning I had my 5th month appt for my 6 mn diet! My weight stayed the same from when I lost those 9 pounds last month! YAY!! Feb 4th is the last appt I have until I can turn in all my info to my ins comp!! When they say that the 6 months will fly they are NOT kidding! I can't believe I am almost there! Im so close I can taste it! Thanks for your support!
