Ok all, like I said, I have become a picture junkie! I can't help myself. I haven't had this much confidence in FOREVER! I have been called a Diva! LOL...I will take it! My husband laughs at my new found confidence! Here is a pic that I took this weekend at my mom's house! Its my fav pic of myself by far! 56 lbs gone!

Okay, okay...I am officially happy!

So 7 weeks after my gastric bypass I can honestly say that I am happy I made this decision! My first few weeks were absolute hell! I hated every second that I was awake! And sleeping! All I dreamt about was food that I couldn't eat. I had major gas pains, I dry heaved a whole lot, so nauseous, tired, etc....I hated my life! But I made it through those dark days and now I am in the light! I still have my moments where I want to eat whatever I want when I want, but I look in the mirror and see that my face isnt so fat, or that fact that I NOW WHERE A SIZE 18 PANTS!!!!!   I still have issues getting in my water, and definitely my pills because I cant do the chewables any more (ugh)...but in 2 weeks I can start my solid pills, and I will be faithful in those. But all in all, I am happy I had this surgery. No other way I could be down 56lbs in 7 weeks!

My list of WOW moments so far!

-2 weeks out----- I can lay on my back in bed with my arms above my head on the pillow,  and not feel the fat choking me!

-5 weeks out----- I am fitting my original wedding ring again!!

-5 weeks out----- I can look in the mirror and see my face isnt as fat anymore!

-5 weeks out----- I busted out my size 20 jeans, and got rid of my size 24s!!

-6 weeks out----- My blood pressure is still normal even though I hadn't taken a pill in almost 2 months.

-6 weeks out----- I can stand and wash dishes WITHOUT back pain!

There is more to come!! Woohoo!

Stall broken!

I have been at a dang stall for like 2 weeks! At first it wasn't bothering me at all because I know its normal...but then towards the end I just got tired of seeing the same number on the scale! Then Sunday (May 16) when I stepped on the scale it said 238! Thats 6 pounds down from my stall! So needless to say I am very happy about that. Its about time! Haha!

1st period after surgery.....

So I started my first period after my sugery! My cramps have been insane! But I thank God for them because I haven't had a cramp in over a year! So this is a sign that my body is working properly! Which is bitter-sweet because now I REALLY have to be careful not to get pregnant right away! Another thing that made me happy about my period is that the blood is flowing well. Normally it flows really lightly and is really dark (which is a sign of old blood)....but my blood this time is bright red! So its fresh and new! I am gonna start tracking my cycles to make sure that my body is working and that I ovulate. That would be a wonderful thing! Thanks peeps!
