Jason, Have the Greatest Ever in the morning! It’s good to see more guys out here on Obesity Help. We make up a small minority of the people having Weight Loss Surgery, but tend to lose down quicker and with fewer hassles than the women due to Male Physiology. Drop back by the "Men's Message Board to let the Guys know how you are doing! I’m just dropping by to let you know that there’s a huge crowd of strangers out here pulling for you and holding you in our prayers. May you have a famously successful surgery and a record-breaking recovery! Be nice to the nurses, Enjoy the drugs when you can, and most importantly, hurry home and start walking away from those pounds and into a new Life! Hope by the time you read this you are home and “on the Loser’s Bench!” Best Wishes-

Gall Bladder Surgery
posted on 10/22/08 7:05 am
Well, I had surgery last week October 16th, 2008 to remove my gall bladder. Throughout the summer I was having these annoying pains and even had an attack in which I was rush into the emergency room since I was in so much pain in the area in which the gall bladder was at. So I took a songram test and I was told I needed my gall bladder remove due to it having numerous gall stones. Well, I'm here recovering at home and ready to go back to work tomorrow. As for the weight loss, I am still weighing at 220 pounds. I haven't lost any weight in the pass 2 months or so, but that's because I haven't tried. I would like to go down to 200 if I put some serious effort into it, which I am soon. As for my personal life I am in the process of applying for the New York City Police Department. So far they placed me on medical hold since they wanted all my records regarding my gastric bypass surgery. We'll see what happens. Anyway good luck to everyone out there who's having surgery soon and everyone who is post op! Hope to hear from some of you! - Jason
