Friday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench! ~ JudyAnne

Orientation scheduled
on February 20, 2007 11:08 am
I was able to get into an orientation next Monday. I am excited to finally be making this move forward. I am nervous because my BMI is 39.9, I hope that they don't discount me because of that.

Just getting started...
on February 13, 2007 9:20 am
I am just beginning this journey and it is a scarey one to be sure. I guess I finally arrived at this crossroad about a year ago. My love of being active over rode my obesity. I love to camp, boat, ski, horseback ride, and scuba dive but I don't seem to have the body of a person that does all of these things. I want to join my family in fun activites but I don't want to hold them back or embarass them in any way. I have been going over my options and I keep coming back to this one. I have tried to lose weight and honestly no matter what I do my weight remains the same. I can make terrible choices and my weight stays the same, I can eat like a bird and my weight stays the same. For the last 4 months I have been following the healthy eating plan from Dr. Oz that was on Oprah, I do feel better but my weight has stayed the same.
