After doing an extensive research on Bariatric Surgery, I attended a Weight Loss Seminar conducted by Dr. Craig Floch in Fairfield, CT. My first impression of him was that he was very knowledgeable, informative, and professional in manner. I knew right away that he was going to be the Surgeon to perform my surgery. Since that time, I have not regretted my decision as he has proven to be very professional and not so medically minded that he is not humanly grounded to his patients. And that is one of the many things I love about Dr. Craig as he made both me and my family feel very comfortable and reassured us along the way. The office staff is just as outstanding and are always easily accessible with a remarkable Aftercare program to their patients even years later. Since the success of the surgery, my health is great and my life is good. Presently, I am pleased to be be an active Advocate of Bariatric Surgery and honored to be one of the many faces of Fairfield County Bariatrics. DR. CRAIG YOU ARE THE BEST IN MY BOOK!

CHANNEL 8, CT STYLE!!!

Hey Everybody,

Just getting back from Channel 8, WTNH and just wanted to take some time to blog about the experience.  The program went GREAT!!!  I had the best experience with Channel 8 as
they treated our group like ROYALTY!  The host of the show, Desiree Fontane, was an absolute sweethart!  She is just as sweet in person as she is on television.  She made me feel so comfortable during our interview as though I was talking to a grilfriend.  She is a woman with a beautiful personaility and a beautiful spirit! Here is a pic of us...



The entire staff there, including the producer, were very helpful, wonderful, and so considerate and they could not believe I had RNY, they all thought I looked incredible!  The interview went GREATTTT! and we can't wait to see it tomorrow!.  Dr. Craig spoke so effectively on bariatric surgery and obesity in America.  He is such a wonderful surgeon with extensive knowledge in his craft that he was able to educate so many that had misconceptions about the surgeries, RNY and gastric banding.

I felt like a "star" for a day!  Everybody there made us feel like SUPERSTARS as they waitied on us and made us feel so special.  They couldn't stop 'complimenting' me and that made me feel so good inside as they became very interested in what bariatric surgery was all about.  I had a fantastic time and wanted to share it with all of you.

HEY, IM ON TELEVISION!

Hey Everybody

As many of you know, I was chosen by my surgeon of RNY to appear on television to share my testimony with bariatric surgery.  I truly blessed and feel honored to be allotted such a wonderful opportunity.  I thank each one of you for your support and well wishing.  You guys are so great and unselfish with your love. 

We will be on Channel 8, CT Style at 12:30 pm on April 27th, Tuesday.  However, for those that are not in the CT or surrounding areas, no fear.  I believe the program will be uploaded to their website at WTNH.com.  I will send you guys a link to check it out at your leisure. 

Also, I will be uploading new pics on Monday for those of you who have been asking what I'm wearing :) Thanks again OH Family for all your support and I will talk to you soon!

Check up with my Doc

Hey Everybody,

Today I got a check up with my doctor and he says that I am doing and looking really good.  My labs 3 months ago were excellent and he wants to do more in 2 more months to ensure that I am getting enough of my daily protein.  I just got a new shake by spirulen as I am no longer do any dairy as milk products have an adverse effect on me so I have switched to all Soy products.  It taste pretty good and it will help me to get more protein.

So excited about a lot of new prospects coming through my bariatric surgery.  I will be able to share more with you down the line.  But so excited about it all.  Take care OH Family and look forward to reading your posts as well.
