My first impression of Dr. Bruderer was that \"Wow, he really cares\". He has a great personality, seems very confident, has trained with the best, & would be an excellent choice for a surgeon. His staff also seems awesome. They really keep you informed, help you thru this whole process, & treat you like an individual trying to better your life. Dr. Bruderer addressed all complications & risks, & I feel very safe with him. Not to mention, my family feels very safe & confident with me going to him too. rnrnWow! Dr. B was fantastic! His PA & Nurse are the same! What a great team. You can feel 100% safe with Dr. Bruderer. He will not lead you down the wrong path. Their aftercare is extrodinary.     Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. 5 Months Post-Op

Well, it's been 5 months & I'm down 117 pounds!  Pretty cool!  AND... tomorrow is opening day here in ND for deer hunting & I actually really want to go this year.  That's so cool, because before, I just wasn't up to all the walking, etc...  I did get my license, a whitetail buck license to top it off!  

Let's see... what else has been going on?  I had another kidney stone & had to have that pounded out.  NOT FUN!  I've had problems with them before surgery though, so I must be one of the lucky ones to get them every year.    I don't drink caffeine & do drink lots of water.  Anyone know what else you can do to prevent them?  

Just wanted to update my weight loss info.  Down 117 pounds from 404 to 287 pounds.  Love seeing that 2 in front now!  Anyway, have a great day everyone!
