Surgeon Testimonial

Joshua Roller M.D.
Dr. Josh Roller and his staff are awesome. From the first time that I met him and his staff I was very impressed. He is very straight forward from the start and lets you know in depth what to expect and he don't beat around the bush about it. Dr. Roller's surgical competence and his bedside manner are excellent and I don't believe I could have found anyone better. The staff are caring, informed and on top of things. I have not one single complaint and only praise to offer the entire office.

Hey what's up? My name is Brenda (misplaced angel).

Welcome to my Journey:

It took me a year to get all my requirements  met to have my surgery. It has been not quite seventeen weeks since I had it done. I am down  92 LBS. from my highest  weight of  312 Lbs before I started my journey to better my health and my life style. I am down 76 Lbs since surgery. I was stuck on a plateau for three week which drove me crazy. But it happens. So stay tuned for updates.

Plus Size or Not that is the Question
on March 30, 2012 12:32 pm
Ok everyone got a question,.... At what size are you not considered plus size anymore? It is so weird to go into a store to get cloths and not know what size you wear... Specialy your bra & panty's sizes....lol

Just updating, I have Lost 100 LBS. from my highest weight of 312. woo hoo go me. Lost 84 since surgery. Have been hitting plateaus a lot lately, which is really pissing me off. Down from a size 26/28 pants to a size 16 & wearing a size XL tops (can wear Large but don't like things clinging to me) From a size 4X. Down from a size 56 DDD to a size 40 C. I am kind of happy about it, but part of me thinks I should have lost more by now. Am I just beating myself up, or am I being to critical? Or am I not trying hard enough? I don't know just having a down moment. TTYL...

So Sick of The Media and Tabloids...
on December 18, 2011 7:41 am
I am so sick and tired of Judgemental people. Just because the NEWS MEDIA and TABLOIDS say we should look a certain way. Guess what people... everyone gets older.Skin sags, wrinkles appear, as do age spots and everything else goes south. That doesn't mean we should go under a knife. As one person that is well known has so many times that she looks like she can barley move her lips and the edges of her mouth looks like they go to her ears(not judging just stating a fact).I can see doing it if its for health reasons such as infections or it has to do with you feeling better about yourself but NOT because the MEDIA says that it is the way you should look....

Just venting....

My Story

Well...I grew up with old fashion parents.Which had believed in eating whats put on your plate and you better eat every bite,no matter what.If you did not eat every bite then you got it for breakfast the next morning. That wouldn't have been so bad if it had been a child's portion, but no mom filled our plate for that of an adults(and I mean a hungry adult). She had to put something from everything that she cooked whether you liked it or not.

I am a army brat,so we traveled alot.I would just get use to a new school and made a couple of friends when we would have to move again.I didn't make friends easy,(I was very timid and shy).I kept to myself and started to withdraw and turning inward. I turned to food for comfort.

By the time I graduated I was weighting 175 lbs.I got married straight out of high school. I ended up pregnant and more weight piled on. In my fifth month I miscarried. That was a hard blow.I turned to food again .Well that happened another six times. Each time more weight. The marriage  broke up.I turned to my best friend good old FOOD.More weight.By this time I was over 200 lbs.

Do to a fall I took I injured my back in three places. Which disabled me,I was put on  no weight bearing activities for over a year. Again more weight piled on .Which wasn't good  for my back .So around in circles here I go.

I finally decided food is not my friend.
