Overweight as long as I can remember. I've been looking into WLS for about 7 years and this year BCBS started covering VSG! YAY! I knew the second they said it was covered that I was changing my life this year :) December 14th I will be having VSG and am ready to join the losers bench!!! Move over everyone here I come, hopefully just have to move a little bit :)

1 month postop!

    Can't believe it's already been a month! 4 weeks of fluids/cottage cheese/protein shakes/creamed soups/milk/jello/water and juice! I lost 15 pounds on the 2 week high protein/low carb diet. I have lost over 19 inches on my body and 21 pounds bringing me to  a total of 36 pounds lost!!!!!! I feel better, my clothes fit better and I can't wait to see what the next 6 months will bring.
    Head back to work in 2 weeks, working 12 hour busy nights in an emergency room. Hopefully I can keep fueled for the long nights. So glad I took this leap, Loving OH and all the friends/people posting! Best inspiration around!
Off to drink some more water--
