Doctor's goal weight reached!

Its been a year and almost two months and I have reached my doctor's goal weight of 187 lbs!  I am 5'9" so that puts my BMI to 27.1 ish.  I am 184.4 as of yesterday though and that is awesome as well.  My weight loss has slowed down tremendously, but is still coming off....just very slowly......  BUT nevertheless, I am happy to be where I am!!!!  Thank you lord!  You never let me down!  NEVER!  Next goal weight is 165 lb!

1 yr surgerversary!

4 days ago was my 1 yr mark!  I have lost 127 lbs, bringing me to 191 lbs from 318 lbs!!!!  My goal is to make it to 175 lb!

I'm lingering between 191-193 for some odd reason...but I suppose it's just a plateau.....its been a month or so now.....  I can't wait to see if more will fall off......

My Story

I have been overweight all of my life, mostly.  I remember in elementary school when I would get made fun of because of my weight and height almost on a daily basis.  I was always the tallest in the class.  In a nutshell, my mom has diabetes and so does most of the people in my family, not to mention the cancer that likes to linger around my family like demons.  I am 5'10" and I weigh 318 at this time.  I am at my highest weight ever, and I don't want to get any bigger.  I most of the time just deal with my wieght and I dont let it get me down.  I try to lead a positive life, because I know that I have my family and my health, even though I am morbidy obese, I feel fine overall.  I am so glad to find a website where I can talk to people like me, who dont judge you by your looks.  I live in NC.  This is where I was born, its a boring place to live, but I love it.  I love the beaches and the coastal life.  There is tropical storm out right now, and its a-brewin'.  Winds are picking up, but Im used to it, Ive been through 6-7 already in life.  I am also single, with no children!  If a man actually read all of this, they are definately worth getting to know.  Anyway, thats just about it.  I hope everyone is sucessful!
