Well to be perfectly honest when I walked into that office I was as nervous as a cat in a room full of rockers. I was immediately put to ease with the down to earth and friendly staff. I felt like I had known them all my life and didn't feel anyone was looking at me like \"what a loser\". Then I met Dr. Stickler I felt an immediate trust. He was very honest and open with me and it was exactly what I needed. I did everything that I was told and breezed through surgery without any hitches. I don't feel like I visit a Dr. now when I go for my checkups I feel like I'm visiting an old friend. He gets as excited as I do about my success. I can't say enough great things about this team!!!! I owe a debt to them that in many lifetimes could never be paid...I have a wonderful life now with a very bright future to look forward to. The only thing I regret is that he was so far away from me I wish he were in Parkersburg.

Well I can't believe I haven't posted since 2009....Alot has changed in my life... I lost my mother and divorced a worthless husband and am happy and healthy...well kind of healthy.  I've been diagnoced with severe anemia and menopause has beaten down my door...lol  but other  than than I'm great.

Wow!!!  Can you believe it I'm 13 months post op, at goal and maintaining and having the time of my life.  I'm able to do things I can't ever remember enjoying.  Yesterday I played vollyball with a bunch of teen girls from church...and had more energy and stamina then they did boy do I feel great!!!  Also just everything I do is so much more simple.  It's not a major thing to do things like tie my shoes in a hurry or climb a small flight of stairs.  It's easy!!!  I LOVE my new life....people ask me if I would do the surgery all over again...I have never hesitated in answering..OH YES in a heartbeat.  I didn't have one complication!!!  I highly recommend it, and I really hurt for those around me that are morbid obese but don't have enough drive to do something about it....So we all who have had success need to pray for those that are struggling to make good decisions for themselves....GOD IS GOOD!!!  All the time!!!

Today I'm wearing my husband's pants...I've always considered him to be scrawny...so does that make ME scrawny????? lol  He's a 32/30 and it feels wonderful...He gets a big chuckle out of it too says he has only joint custody of his clothes...But I think he doesn't mind the other benefits...

Well yesterday I shopped......and much to my suprise size 12 is now too big...I'm now a size 10!!!!  Who would have thought a little over a year ago i was in as size 32 or 34.....I am so thankful that I had this surgery!!!

I'm happy where I am at now....

I've decided that I want to stay where I'm at now I'm very happy with the size I am...size 12 ...so now I start to maintain...If anyone has any suggestions on this I've never done it before so I'm kind of lost so let me know what to do....Last week for example I lost 2 more pounds and wasn't even trying....Looking forward to hearing from you all.....Hope everyone is surviving the new year it sure is cold in my new body!!!!brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr   Florida sounds soooo good right now.
