My Story

Well where do I begin?   Let's start with my first visit to Weight Watchers at the age of 12.  Weight Watchers had just started in the late 1960's and classes were held all over England (mainly in Church halls).  My Mum took me to my first weigh-in.  I was the youngest member.  They even gave me a discount!!!!!  Anyway, that was my very first diet.

I always felt like the chubby one.  My best friend who lived on the same street was so skinny she had to wear two pairs of tights to make her legs look fatter.  Then came TWIGGY.....who remembers her!!!!!  That's when the curvy fuller figure went out of style and SKINNY was in.  My good friend got so much attention and there was little old chubby me standing in the corner.  I hated being overweight.  I feel it has always held me back from so many opportunities in life.

From there on I was on and off diets all my life....you name it, I've done it.  I never thought I would ever consider Weight Loss Surgery.....but the more I research and learn, the more I realize, this is the answer.

I just had my first Kaiser Options orientation last week.  I filled out the questionnaire and am waiting to be called with a start date for my 12 week Optons class.

More to follow!!!!
