hey everyone,
little by little, im adding info on here as i look over the site.
my name is Toni im from new yorkkkkkk (saying it with my accent) lol
i am 50 yrs young , will be married for 32 yrs in june i have a son 31 april 3rd and a daughter who will be 29 on may 26th my surgery date . i have a dog a king charlies cavalier named Lucy shes my everything ;-) i am a store manager in a retail store. for those of you that know " joyce leslie " skinny minnie clothes. ive been struggling up and down with my weight for most of my life losing the same pound over and over again.
i tried everything imaginable and read just about every diet book out there. this vsg surgery sounds so promising
i am soooooooooo excited i just want to be able to tie my sneakers and not get out of breath i want to be able to not have pain in my knee caps. i know the Arthur desease is starting to set in. and i know peri-menopause is kicking my butt. i look foward in gathering any information that will benefit myself and most important, to make new friends

morning everyone ,
this mornings weigh in i was down 4.2 having said that last week i was up 1.4 i was sooooooo discouraged and upset with myself cuz the carb monster got to me so i decided to begin the " 5 day pouch test" and get down to basics again and from here on in, i will make sure there r no process carbs at my home lolol. i have also learned on the " 5 day pouch test" website is that it is loaded with valuable info i have learned so much .
i have lost 45.8 and i have 36.8 left to go

morning everyone ,
this mornings weigh in was that i am down 2 pds yayyyyyyyy
i was a lil nervous about this past sat having gone to a party and all i def ate a lil more than i nornally do that worried me. Sun was my 1st 5 k run for the "have a heart foundation" i finished in 37 min 21 seconds yayyyyyy me it was tough i will not lie , but soo invigorating im doing another one this oct 23rd for " muscular dystropy children hopefully ill beat my 1st time. my son who is 31 , came in 2nd place for his age group with 25 min. i am so proud of him ;-) then mon i went to the gym and tues is my off day but i decided to do wii fit i forgot how great of a work out it is from now on , i will do wii fit on my off days of the gym so i worked hard for those 2 pds im down 43 pds and 39.6 left to goo so nice to see my loss greater than my pounds left i need to lose wahooooo !!!! last week i gained 2 ounces was i bummed? yesssss but i began to analyze what i did that week and i realized that i had made a lot more pasta than protein i think that did me in so veryyyy little pasta for me ...... hope all is well with everyone

morning everyone ,
i didnt write last week as i stayed the same wondering if i was going to be in that dreaded stall everyone speaks of
and i was happy to see a 2 pd loss this morning yippeeeeeeee yayyyyy im down 41.2 and 41.4 to go to get to my goal wowow im 1/2 way there amazinggg although weight loss has slowed down im still doing the same things
drinking my water, taking my vits, going to the gym, having 2 proteins drinks a day , so i now know it all ahd to do with my body when it wants to give up 1 pd or 1 ounce . it is what it is !!!!! ill weigh in again on the 26th as that will be my 4 month surgiversary of course i want to get to my goal but honestly if i didnt lose anymore weight , i can live like this i feel so great in my jeans now . my skinny jeans r getting loose on me now ;-) i just had a 51st bday and my family and i went to a place in manhatten that had a mechanical bull and i went bull riding he hawwwww i had so much fun i stayed on for 1 minute 25 seconds too. i even have a blister to prove it lol yeah for the gym and my arm muscles

this mornings weigh in ... i was down 1 pd yayyyyyyyy i have to say that this time around , i was a lil nervous .
last week i was on a lil carb binge. every night having a handful of some kind of chip, so the carb monster got me. then on labor day , i had 2 glasses of light beer , soooooooo i wasnt your model member , but i still lost a pound wahoooooo. i promised myself and the scale , no more . i told my hubby if he brings any kind of chip into the house hes going along with the chips . lol this sun , i have my primary dr appt cant wait to see what my cholostrol is
oct 3rd ill be in my 1st 5k run for the heart foundation im so excited i cant wait .

morning everyone,
this mornings weigh in , i was down 4 ounces yayyyyyyyyy . 13 weeks out , and im still losing. ive never had a stall yet (whew) so as long i am losing something im happy. my family keeps saying i look fantastic and skinny and i should stop with the numbers , but i just cant .... im down 38.2 im soooooooo happy . continuing on my journey in doing what im suppose to be doing water, shakes, vitamins, right choices exercising , etc
