Hi All!  I'm  Kim from Pittston, PA.   Which is in Northeastern PA.  I am 2 hours north of Philly and 2 hours west of NYC.  I am married to a very supportive man (Terry) whom i have been with 18 years.  We have 3 daughters Courtney, 16, Haley, 14, and Jody, 10.  I am orginally from Washington state and have no family here.  I have been looking into surgery since November 2007.  My first appointment was February 4th so I can apply for approval August 4th.  I can't wait.  I have a sleep apnea test on May 20th and hope I do have it, because my doctor told me it would be a slam down on approval if i do.  Sad huh?  Well, i just want to make sure I can have the surgery.  I am a teacher at an all boys reform school, teaching English.  I love my job, but am just so inactive there.   I have been trying to do little things to prepare for post-op such as increasing my water intake, drinking protein shakes, watching my carbs, but really need to fit exercising in there too.  I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and love the support you seem to give each other.  I am glad I found you!         Kim
