Dr. Rovito is great. I would rate him a 10/10. I was having gas issues on day 2 post-op he talked to me and helped me through it. He cares about his patients and knows that he changes their lives. He is a very tell it like it is person but he has a heart of gold. Dr. Rovito puts huge emphasize on before and after care. I would recommend him to anyone. He is my hero! I knew from the very begining I was in good hands.

day 3 post-op my joruney has just begun

Well today is day 3 post-op lap RNY.  I thank God that some of my gas has passed.  I feel better today than yesterday.  My gas pain has moved out of my neck and into my shoulders.  The gas in the lower abd is better.  Not so much diarrhea today but I had that from the Upper GI stuff I drank Tuesday morning.  I just found out what my ideal weight is 138 lbs. That means I need to loose 201 lbs.  I still don't see how that is possible, even  with all the before and after pics it still seems unreal to me but I can't wait for it to be a reality.  I hope I feel better every day.
