There is hope tomorrow!

Well, I called my PCP again and she still hasn't written the letter nor was the receptionist very helpful.  I'm thinking of changing to a different PCP.  So I called the surgeons office and asked for help finding a PCP that would work well with their office.  They recommended Dr. Muhal.  So I called Dr. Muhals' office and they set me up an appt tomorrow at 11am.  The receptionist there was very nice and informative.  She stated that Dr. Muhal was good about getting the Medical Release letters to the surgeons fairly quickly.  I was so excited.  I guess I'll find out tomorrow.  I can't wait!

Waiting for that darn PCP medical release letter

I called my PCP office again and again asking if the MD had written and sent the medical clearence letter to my surgeon.  They keep telling me they'll look into it and have someone call me back as soon as they find out.  I'm going down there tomorrow.  I think if I keep being persistant, i'll get an answer.  I'm so anxious!

Waiting anxiously....

Everything is occuring so quickly!  I'm so anxious to start a new begining.  Here's the following list of events:

March 25, 2009- I attended a required Bariatric Surgery Seminar (my third one in 3 yrs)

April 1, 2009- Surgeon consult appt 
                 Nutritionist appt
                 Psych eval appt
                 Chest X-ray and lab work completed

April 14, 2009- Medical clearence letter requested from primary doctor

April 16, 2009- FEELING VERY ANXIOUS!!

Should I wait until after the summer to schedule my RNY since there is a higher risk of becoming dehydrated?  I plan to spend the summer at the water park with my boys since I already pre-purchased the season pass last year.  Is it a good idea to be in the sun for long periods of time right after surgery?
