My Story

My story probably matches many of your stories!  I grew up as a fat child and was made fun of for years and endured all the lonliness and horrors of being an outcast.  On May 20,  2008 I was given the gift of a lap band at the Burlington MA Lahey Clinic!!  An answer to prayer - a miracle - Christmas Day for me.  The surgery and recovery went beautifully and I was so very excited and happy.  I lost weight quickly and got down to 142 lbs with only 20 lbs to my goal......and then I discovered that I could eat sweets!  I started off slowly and progressed to large amounts of sugary junk and gained 17 lbs.  My size went up and my confidence has gone down.  I need help and encouragement.  I want to get back to eating healthy.  I need your help!  Thank you.
