My Story

 Hi all,

I am new to this site and looking for online friend support. I have been reading on and off for a couple of years and have decided that the sleeve is for me. 

I was approved for the band and gastric bypass, after reading the gastric bypass site I got cold feet and cancelled. A Doctor I know and my very close friend from High School both had the sleeve done within this year and I am so happy for them and jealous of their courage to do it so I started coming here again and reading the sleeve site.

I am very impressed at the support and kind words given on here and can't wait to be on the losing bench with all of you. I am a nurse and I feel very strongly about getting the weight off of me because I mostly feel like a hippocrit when I have to tell people what they should eat and not eat being Big as Hell myself. 

I am learning so much from you all already and can't wait to be part of the oh family. 

I am going to post pictures of myself on my page so I can be shamed into taking action soon. I just hope my insurance covers the sleeve also, someone just told me they were only approved for the bypass  :( I will have to do self pay then but feel it will be the best decision for me. 

I have pcos and diabetes so I am hoping to make a huge differnce in my quality of life.
