Hi my name is Amy and I am a 31 year old middle school teacher. I have always fought the weight battle. I was 250lbs in the 6th grade, talk about torment. Going back and forth with loosing here and gaining there, I have finally decided it is time for a permanent change and the DS is what I have decided on.

I am approved on November 2, 2007 3:30 pm I heard from the insurance company and I have been approved for the DS. So I just have to wait to hear from DR. S to set up a date.

The Wait
on October 21, 2007 8:11 am Well, I have done all of the requirements and visited all of the people I need, so I am just waiting to hear from the insurance company. It has been about three weeks. I called and still they have no record that my papers were sent. I called the doctor's office and they cannot find my records. I hope they find them on Monday and send them off again to the insurance company. The wait is horrible. I have never been a very patient person.
