Dr. Gagne is the best!!!! I did not know what to expect before I went to my consultation ( as a matter of fact I made an appointment in 2004, got scared and did not go!!!!!- then a year later finally got up the nerve). After meeting Dr. Gagne, he put most of my fears to rest. He told be everything I needed to know, the good down to the worst case scenario. Dr.Gagne came highly recommended, the staff at West Penn Bariatric Surgery Center are wonderful , and I am blessed to have Dr. Gagne as my surgeon.

I can't believe that a site that I logged onto several times a day I have not been on in TWO YEARS.....TWO YEARS!!!!! And one thing I know now is that I NEED OH!!!!!! Time to put in some work! Love and BLESSINGS to you all!!!!!

but I am back!!!!!!! This journey has been a long road but after 3 1/2 years I am finally understanding what it's all about!!!! I praise GOD for this gift and I am gonna make it!!!!

My life changed forever on November 28, 2005! I am still a work in progress and working towards my goal but I am so BLESSED to have been given a 2nd chance at life!!!! I am making a pledge TODAY to work my tool to the fullest!!!!

I'm a One year old TODAY!!!!!!

Hello! It has been a year since I had WLS and what a journey it has been! It was ALOT harder then I thought it would be, but through the grace of God I made it. A year ago I was 330 lbs and as of last Tuesday I am 215 lbs. Thank you all so much for your love and support. At times when I was gonna give up...you would not let me and I am forever grateful.
Also thank you for your posts, prayers, emails, e-cards, and messages I received about my car accident. I am on the mend and I start PT on Thursday for my back.

August 8,2006-Hello!!! I just wanted to update you on my journey! I went to see my PCP on Monday, July 31 and I am down 95 lbs!!!!! The weightloss slowed down some....and I got off track a little but all is good now and I am committed to my journey more the ever. I am exercising 6 days a week and making healthy food choices. Also I have joined a program that is ran by the University of Pittsburgh's Center for Minority Health called The Healthy Black Family Project. They offer alot of fitness and health classes including Water Aerobics...and they are all FREE!!!! I went for my fitness assessment today and I can't wait to start!! Also I am proud to announce that I have a new Angelette, Erica Gordon!!! I am honored to be her Angel and I will do my best to offer her all of my support through her journey.
