So I had my Sleeve done!! It was even two days earlier then planned.
Everything went well, aside from the stapler mis-firing, which they said that they caught early enough and there are no complications to from it.
I went in Wed. morning and was home by Fri. afternoon.
The nurses were great, with the exception of the first person putting in my IV. They were very helpful when I needed something and very encouraging to get me up and walking and intaking my liquids.
The doctors I seen (the surgeon, residents and whoever else came in) were very informative and came in when they said they were going to and had the information that was requested. They even found me when I was not in my room (was out walking) and scheduled my follow up appt for me.
I am home relaxing and hoping to get my drain tube out when I go in for my check up on Mon. I have some pain in in my abdomin as the feeling is coming back and as things are mending. I am learning that the stuff inside capsuls and gel caps are nasty and if you can get it in a chewable or liquid please do so.
