Michael L. King M.D. Dr King is a knowledgeble and caring surgeon. I meet him a a seminar for WLS that he and Dr Byars did in Tupelo. The more I got to know him I understood how seriously he wants his patients to suceed. Which means you follow the rules if preop dieting so you can have a smooth sucessful surgery and recovery. His office staff is great. He addressed the risks of surgery more than once, he makes sure you understand what you are about to do. I would rate him a 10 overall. I think surgical competence and bedside manner are both important because you need to be comfortable with the person who is doing your wls. You must know that Dr King is strict about pre-op ans post-op diet. If he tells you to do something that's what he expects from you. If you do not follow his instructions you may not have the outcome you expect. You can't blame your surgeon if
you do not following his rules and guidelines. This is my opinion.

I said a prayer for
you today, and know
God must have heard,
I felt the answer in
my heart, although
He spoke no word, I
didn't ask for
wealth or fame, I
knew you wouldn't
mind, I asked Him to
send treasures of, a
more loving lasting
kind, I asked Him to
send you blessings
at the start of your
new day, To grant
you love and health,
and to guide the
surgeon's way, I
asked for you to
recover fast, and to
become thin and
small, But it was
for His loving care,
I prayed for most of
all!
