Hello Everyone. My name is Collette and I live in Kent WA and I had RNY surgery 8-01-07 in Seattle WA by Dr. Steven Bock.
I have struggled with my weight since having kids. I have been at least 100 pounds over weight for more than 25 years!!! I,ve tried every diet known to man, some worked for a minute but the end result is that I always gained the weight back and then some, which was very frustrating.
I joined this website to meet people that were going through the same stuff I'm going through and to learn about WLS and other peoples journeys. Its great to see or hear other peoples journeys ,makes me feel good for them and and maybe not so much of a freak. I feel as if we share a bond since we've all been through pretty much the same battles and the we all have the same goal - WEIGHT LOSS- I love reading the message boards and talking to people.

I am down 120 pounds in 8 months...yippe~
Down to a size 14 in regular sizes..again yippe~
Only 45 more to go YEAH!!

Discovered why they say no alcohol...1.5 oz's and I was completly bommed! won't be doing that again any time soon.

Had a mammogram on the 18th..have to go back...something about calcifications...god I am so scared..All I ever wanted to have a breast reduction...now I find out that I may have bigger problems than I ever realized. What sucks...they can't get me back into the doctor until next week...now I get to be on pins and needles until then.

Waiting to be the skinny girl

Sitting in the break room looking at a size zero eating her second king size snickers.......Have you ever just wanted to smack that skinny b**** that's sitting next to you? Ahhhh I cant wait to be that skinny b****.

I finally purchased a pair of jeans on the "skinny" side of the store Wooo Hooo a 18 in juniors and it felt great to shop there. I am down 115 pounds as of 3/3/08 and it feels great....only 49 more to go...I am hoping to reach this goal by my 1 year anniversay date

I am now down 98 lbs. in 6.5 months I have about 66lbs to go til I reach my goal that I set in the beginning. However I think I wanna lose about 10/15 more.
