Say Hasta La Vista to the 300's
on December 17, 2006 8:50 am
Thats right.  I have lost over 160 pounds.  WOW What a difference.  We went to a holiday party last night and all I got from my friends is that I have no ass.  4 months ago, all I had was a huge, monsterous ass that couldn't fit into chairs, movie theater seats or sporting event seats.  Now I can fit into anything.  WHAT A RUSH!!  Christmas is a blast when you can actually walk around , go out caroling and not go into a coughing fit. I wish all my friends the very best holiday season ever!!

WOW Over 110 pounds gone
on November 5, 2006 3:57 am
I know that I have been mainly a lurker here,  but I am trying to get out of my shell.  I have been overwight for the majority of my life and it is not easy to open up.  THe last three months have been some of the most exciting of my life (with the exception of getting married and the birth of my son).  I have lost over 110 pounds, 6 pants sizes, 3 shirt sizes and almost 5 inches from my neck.  I was able fo the 1st time in 9 years weigh on a regular doctors scale.  UnFreekingable!!  I started working around the house yesterday about 8am and I did not stop until 8pm.  This would have never been possible without the weight loss.  I have had a couple of strictures and I am just now able to start eating semi solid foods again.  I have been living off soup for the last two months.  I think that this has accelerated my weight loss.  I have started working out with a personal trainer and I am taking better care of myself than I ever have.  I am truly thankful for all the support of my friends and family.

My Story

My name is Charley and I have been batteling obesity for over half my life.  I tried all the conventional weight loss techniques and I felt like I was on a yo-yo.  30 pounds down, 60 pounds up.  I finally hit rock bottom when I weighed 455 lbs.  I couldn't get an echocardiogram because they couldn't see through the FAT!!  I was told it's ok, we'll do a stress test.  I call up and they say that I am TOO BIG for their equipment.  I said OK ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!  I scheduled an appointment with my surgeon and was on my way to the losing side.  I have lost over 110 pounds in under 3 months.  I feel better than I have in years.  I have a wonderful wife Sarah and a unbelievable son Tyler.
