There isn't much to say other then the usual. I wasn't that over weight as a kid. Maybe a few extra pounds. I played sports. When I got in to 10th grade I tried out for the volleyball team. Got up every morning at 4:30am to be at school for morning workouts by 5:30. Ran the track, up and down all the stadium stairs. Then into the gym for suicides and volleyball training. Did great and was told so. Got my physical and was told "you are one of the best ball spikers we had tryout but you need to lose some weight first before you can be on the team." I weighed 167 (i'm 5"4) like I said a little over weight but not much. How discouraging. I never tried out for another sport again. Thats when my weight really started to pack on. when i graduated high school i weighed 179lb. Got with my husband and never seen the hundreds since. This year will be my 15 yr high schoo reunion. Dang 15 years and I weighed over 300lbs. How did I let myself get that way? Food was always more important to me I guess. But not anymore. I will work my butt off (for real) LOL. I go to the gym 5 days a week since 6 weeks out of surgery. I've had a gym membership for 10 yrs. NEVER WENT. I eat healthy and cook healthy for the whole family.
I have 2 wonderful kids. My daughter is 18yrs old. and the best girl in the world. Very helpful and caring. And my son is turning 13. Dang they grow up so fast. time really flies and I am not wasting another minute of it being fat and unhealthy.
I have the best husband in the world who supports me no matter what. (even with the cost of everything). I just don't know what i would do without my family.
This is going to be a wonderful and yet hard journey and I can't wait to keep challenging myself to stick with it.
