  • Books & Literature - Ok, So I know its overrated but I just read the Twilight series and loved it!

Well I went to weigh in today. I'm glad I went. They had not yet received a copy of my approval letter and said they could not make my surgeon appt without it. I had a copy with me and they said that would work. So the surgeon's scheduler should be calling me in the next few days with an appt. Yay!! I will get to get my surgery date at that appt.

I got an appt for the endoscopy on Wed the 26th.  That is the last test I need before surgery. I lost all the weight I need to lose. I just hadn't got back down to the surgeon's office to weigh in again yet. I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone about the weigh-in thing. I don't know if  I need to weigh in before they will schedule my appt with the surgeon or if they are just waiting for me to get the endoscopy over with. No one seems to know. I guess just to be on the safe side I will go weigh in. It's just that it's an hour and 15mins drive. I'm getting really anxious now. I know that's crazy! After all the hoops that I've had to jump through, all the waiting, NOW I get anxious!...lol.

I went to do my weigh in today. I lost 2 of the 3 lbs I needed to lose.  I didn't get to talk to the coordinator because she wasn't in today. So I'll wait till Monday and call her. I guess I will have to go back down next week and weigh again. I just wish they would let that last pound slide. Maybe I will get lucky and they will call Mon with an appt with the surgeon. One can only hope. I had my lab work and chest x-ray today. I still need to do the EGD. Maybe I'll get that appt set up next week. I can't wait. Now that I got my approval I'm getting impatient. lol. I should just be happy with the approval I guess. That's what I was really worried about all this time.

I'm approved!!! I'm approved!!! I'm approved!!! Oh my gosh! I'm so excited! I'm vibrating!! I got a call from the insurance co today, they said everything was a go if I had cleared it with my claims person. I had and so she said they would send my certification to the surgeon. I still can't hardly believe it. I'm still waiting for the rug to jerked out from under me. lol. Like they would call and say oh, sorry we changed our minds...lol. Now I have to go weigh in at the surgeons office on Fri. I need to lose those last 3 lbs by then. the nurse told me to get a colon cleanse from the drug store and do my protein liquid diet till then. So wish me luck! I know I can so this! I will have my date soon enough!

I had my last appt today for the 6 months supervised weight loss. I lost all but 3 lbs of the required weight. They sent my stuff for insurance approval today. Said I would hear from the insurance co within 2 weeks. Yay! I pray that it all goes through and they don't make me have to appeal. I can't wait to hear something. I have to lose the last 3 lbs before they schedule my final pre-op appt with the surgeon. They want me to come and weigh in in 2 weeks.They said I would get a call from the scheduling dept for all my pre-op testing. I need an endoscopy, chest x-ray, and lab work.  My boss freaked out over me possibly having the surgery in Sept. There are 3 other people taking off in Sept already.  Oh well.
