My first impression of Dr. Chung was that I found him to be very professional yet very friendly and comforting. He always had my best interests in mind and knew just when to make me laugh :). His staff is wonderful as well, they really know how to make you feel like part of a big family. I was very confident in Dr. Chung and his surgical capabilities and was never worried about being under his care. The nurses at the hospital were also very wonderful and caring and helped in every way they could. I would recomment Dr. Chung and his staff to anyone! I feel very blessed to have recieved such great care with Dr. Chung and his staff.

    Thank you all for your wonderful support! I am home and recovering well. My surgery went smoothly and uneventful, YAY! I am thankful for all the thoughts and prayers and truly believe that they helped me make it through and recover so well. Each day I am feeling better and better! My first meeting w/Dr. Chung

Today was my first meeting with the dr to talk about the surgery and if I was a good candidate, etc. Of course I had to fill out some paperwork (fun fun) first, and then I got to speak with Marcie. She was such a sweet lady and made me feel so comfortable. After talking with her she led my husband and I back to meet Dr. Chung. He is very nice and answered all questions we had. He was very assuring of everything and said he foreseen no problems in getting approval from our insurance company YAY! Who by the way is Tricare. So hopefully in the next few days or so I will get a call about that, and I am crossing my fingers that it all went thru fine. Dr. Chung said that if it did then I'd probably have my surgery in December..WOOHOO! I left the office feeling very happy, very relieved and very anxious to start my new life! I will keep you all updated on things. Since we are still fairly new to the area (Fort Polk/Leesville), I have yet to make any new friends here..so please dont be shy to contact me...I am craving some female companionship LOL.
