Surgeon Testimonial

Virginia McGrath-Weaver M.D.
Dr. Weaver has been great - she has given me so much encouragement and support. I have heard horror stories of other bariatric doctors in my town. Thank God I was referred to her in the first place. I have nothing but praises for her. She will answer all your questions and recommend what she thinks is best for your care. All we have to do is follow the plan we've been given with our new tools.

Wednesday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench! ~JudyAnne~

Christy, It was nice to meet you at the support group meeting last night! You are going to go great with your surgery. Dr. Weaver is wonderful. I know it's got to be heard to get away for the meetings but do try to come to them because they are very helpful. Best wishes for your big day!

Moving Along Very Slowly!
I think I'm down about 22 pounds now. I joined Curves by my work a couple weeks ago. Wouldn't you know it - I joined on a Friday and on Wednesday  we had to close our office due to some crazy person in our colocation. I'm working from the other girl in my office's house. I can't work from home because I live in the country and can't get DSL so I have service through Hughesnet a satellite company and my VPN is so slow. I hope we get a set office soon. I haven't been driving to Curves because gas is so expensive and it's about 13 miles one way to the Curveslocation. I drive an Expedition and the gas is killing me already. I think if I could get back to Curves I'd be doing better. My dad called me this week and told me that my grandmother said I could have her treadmill. I just need to go get it. I haven't gotten it yet because I don't have room in the car for it and my 5 boys. My husband has been out of town all week and just got home last night for the weekend. Hopefully, I can get over there for the treadmill. Maybe that will help. I'm still struggling with food and liquids. I'm really looking for easy, quick healthy food ideas. Please send me any suggestions. I appreciate it. I did get my 2nd fill this week and met some great ladies there. Going to the doctor seems to be a support group in itself. Maybe I should go more often (lol). I hope everyone is doing good and will update soon.

Here is a easy recipie and kid friendly.Take chicken breast(could use other chicken parts) put into a crock pot one package taco seasoning mix ,one can(small) can of cream soup,I use 94% fat free cream of chicken and cook until done.If you work you can put on low all day or 4-5 on high. When done you cane putl low fat sour cream or shredded cheese or both. You could serve over noodles or rice also.It is really good and easy.Sand Hanson
