The carb monster

3/28/08.  This week has been extremely tough for me.  I have tried to really hard to say no to the carb monster, but last night I finally gave in.  We went to the Black Angus for dinner and when they brought out the bread I just had to have a nibble.  I was receiving death looks from my husband when I took another small piece.  His said to me "why are you going to spend $25 on dinner when you're not going to be able to eat it after eating that bread?"  Well I just put the bread down and put on my best pouty face possible.  Then after a few minutes I snuck another piece before he could see.  It didn't get stuck, so that just fueled the fire, I needed just another taste.  I probably only had one slice of bread total, but add that to the cadbury egg and the half a slice of cheesecake no wonder I'm up two lbs today.  So tonight it's back to the basics, protein and veggies.  TOM has got to leave so I can get over these cravings.  I have to work the next three nights and I typically don't eat very much so I'm hoping these two lbs will come right off.  Well I'm off to the gym, take care everyone, til next time.

I just took out all of my frustration at the gym.  I feel 100% better!!  Man I wish I would have figured this out sooner

8 Month Surgiversary

Today marks 8 months out, and what a crazy 8 months they have been.  I weighed 243 today.  That puts me less than 100lbs to my goal.  I am so excited.
