YAYAYAYAYYYYY!!!! After all this crap with insurance, I thought it would take forever to get approved! 15 days I guess isnt so bad! My surgery date is February 8th at 7:30am! I have to be at the hospital at 5:30. I am not really nervous, just overwhelmed with the information I have been given.

I have to start a two week 'protein-shake' diet on Jan. 25, I am completely unprepared, I just spent $170 on protein drinks. I hope it shrinks my liver enough.

Anyways, YAY!

I called insurance today because it has been 14 days or so since my paperwork has been submitted. When I called, the lady had me on hold for a little bit, then came back and told me that on January 17th, the doctors office cancelled the pre-auth request. The insurance lady seemed a little confused, but she said it was definately cancelled.

I then called the insurance coordinator and told her, and she said "what?!" and said "ill call you right back!" This was at 4:45, and the office closes at 5. I never got a call.. :( go figure.

Tomorrow, I will bug her again, for the third day in a row, but I mean, I have the right to want to know what the heck is going on with my insurance right?!!?

Cancelled my ass.

Can be so annoying! We submitted my paperwork on 1-5 and am still waiting (I know- it hasnt been that long but it feels like forever). Hopefully today is the day! My phone will ring and she will say "your approved!". Wish me luck! I dont wanna wait longer!
