OH Addict
Ok so I feel like I am addicted to OH and judging by the quick responses that I am getting from my messages to my friends...Maybe there are a LOT of ppl that are addicted too...my house is a mess....my kids are running around, the dog is barking and here i sit oblivious to it all...  LOL well obviously i am not oblivious but I need to be here connecting with you all...HELP...there must be 12 step programs for this addiction...OPRAH...can u hear me...Dr. Phil.....: remember I love funny!!!! I hope this brings a smile to someones face...addicted to OH...and loving it.....

I am 46 years old, have fought with this fat thing forever. I too was tired of fighting and not winning. So, I to after much research decided that this was the way to go. The one thing that I want to say to you regarding the D.Switch is this, you are able to still eat what you want, no dumping. If you are like you say you are, like to eat,.. then this might not be the surgery for you. Having surgery is to help you, not contribute to your eating problem. You need to really be honest with yourself and take control of your eating and not let your eating take control of you. It is hard. I know, but I am not going to ever look back on this decision and be sorry I did it. I am only 8 days out from surgery and have lost 19 lbs already. I am so elated by that I can't wait to get to a year. Good luck to you and bless you. I would like to be one of your friends if you would like to. I am 7 weeks out and lost 41 pounds. I have been home recuperating...but feeling terrific since Jan 3 2008. I guess that I lost a person already since starting a diet back in August. I knew that this was the solution for me. I have a sister and a cousin who had the surgery in different states. At 60 years old, I knew it was now time to get my body back in shape. OH the days of our lives??? I am totally with ya. I did well did not get on today until my sons 4p playdate. I am proud of me. But, it is certainly good to have support! Thank you-
