Surgeon Testimonial

Robert B. Shin, M.D. F.A.C.S
Dr. Shin. I can't say enough great things about this man.

1.First Impression: Very professional while at the same time personable.

2. Lasting Impression: Still the same since I had my surgery!

3. Staff: No problems. His nurse Angie is great!

4. Least Likes: Current office is at CAMC Memorial's Professional Center. Parking is a bit cramped.

5. Future Patients: Expect a Dr. that will expect you to keep up your end of the bargin.

6. Aftercare: The focus is on the long term and not just immediate results.

7. Aftercare Structured: YES

8. Risks: We discussed them in advance to make sure I know what was out there.

9. Rating: 10. With an elective surgery that is catagorized as "Major Surgery", I chose my surgeon carefully. He is the only person I would suggest.

10. Where is his strong suit?: All areas.

Back on the Roller Coster of Life
posted on 1/31/07 4:37 am
Last posting, for those of you loyal people that read my blog, I talked about life being too wild and being happy that I was in a time out.  Well, rest time's over.  I'm back in the game of life.  In the past two weeks I became a cycling instructor for the Marietta Family YMCA on Tuesday nights.  Being the newbie, I'm asked to do all of the fill-ins, so I have now taught 4 classes.  I really like doing it though.  Especially since I am working just as a volunteer.  I'm just wondering if I can get them to give me a tax form to deduct my clothes, shoes and music purchases?  It would be nice.  :)

On other note, my wife decided to get back on the straight and narrow on the fitness trail.  I am so proud of her for that and will do anything I can to help her out.  She is doing great already and I know she will succeed .

Also, a big THANKS to those people in my new online home and favorite message and chat board (you know who you are).  You guys were a big help to getting me out of my funk.  All it took was a couple of rides on the short bus, some SF dark chocolate, and lot of laughing.

Current Weight:  Don't care!  Exercising more that ever so my weight is going up and down like crazy.  I'll worry about it again in a couple of months.
