Hi Kathleen,
I hope you are doing
well following
surgery. I'm home
and learning to be a
loser. Halloween
candy is bothering
me today but as soon
as I see those
pounds starting to
come off I'm sure
I'll get over it. I
plan to step up my
walking level today.
I will be going
around with my
husband and daughter
trick or treating.
I am comfortable
enough today that I
haven't used any
pain medicine so
far. My stab wounds
are tender and
sometimes the gas is
a problem but
nothing
unmanageable. Today
I had instant
breakfast with a
protein scoop added.
I poured out 60 cc
planning to stretch
it out for an hour
but I ate too fast
and got miserable.
I'm learning. It's
taken me another
hour to recover from
breakfast. I am
trying to have a bit
of coffee as a treat
right now. I
haven't had any for
about a week.
My thoughts and
prayers are with you
today.
Hey Kathleen!
I was out of town,
so didn't find out
until today that
your EKG was fine
and surgery was a
go. Welcome to
loserville!!!!!!!!!!
! Can't wait to see
your first post-op
post and find out
how things are
going. Prayers for
speedy recovery and
quick weight loss!!
Audrey
I have been so bad! My intentions were to stay on top of the every changing me, but I have happily fallen into a comfortable pattern and for that I'm very very thankful.
I know I have to look below and pull up my list of things I could hardly wait to do and get it updated.
Let's see one thing not on my list was to get on with my life and after wanting out of my marriage for 16 years, I finally moved out on May 30th. I am very happy and only wish I'd done it sooner. I lost one of my best friends to lung cancer at the end of March and I am realizing the importance of living life fully and this is just what I've been doing! My weightloss has come to a crawl, but I'm OK with that. Hey! I'm not gaining! Things are shrinking back into place and I feel fantastic.
