My Story

Hey everyone- My name is Courtney Halbrooks. As long as I can remember I have had a weight problem. I have always tried to do the ol' fad diets - Weight watchers and Low Carb diet, and diet pills! Nothing has seemed to work. So on March 5, 2012 I decided to consult w/ a bariatric doctor to see what the likely hood of me having surgery would be and the cost of course - considering my work doesn't cover any weight loss surgery's ! So my first visit w/ Doctor Mailapur went great! I received a lot of information about the options and the costs! I then decided in April I was going to follow through with my plan and have the surgery! So dates were set, plans were made and I had surgery on the 18th of June and have lost 20.3 from my final visit w/ the doctor. I will continue to post updates on my story as it develops!
