So i get on this site almost everyday, and today I realized that I hadn't posted a blog in a long time.
Two weeks ago I had my first fill....I'm not sure if i really feel any restriction. I feel it some, but i'm sure that it should be more then i do.
SOO far, i'm really happy with my decision to be banded. I've been more active lately and recently joined a gym.
as of september 30 I had lost 33 lbs from sugery and a grand total of 39 from my highest.
by the scale in my bathroom (which is never the same as the doctors) I've lost 43lbs from my highest.
My fill went great. He numbed me up and after that i didn't feel a thing..it was soo werid to have that needle inside me and it not hurt. I felt him it the port it made a loud pop sound.
I'm going to try to update more often, since i'm already on the site i don't have a reason not to.

sooo i'm a little late updating my profile.
Surgery on the 11th went good. i was home the next day walkin around fine...and off pain meds the day after that.
My cuts are healing and getting used to this liquid diet...yuck..i want something to chew.

I noticed yesterday that i'm soooo not getting enought protein. :( everyone has been saying like get 60g or more sooo i've decided to get some of the New Whey Protein 42g thingys. I tried the fruit punch today..its yuck, but its tolerable. i drank half of it getting  21g of protien i'm gonna wait to see what my total count for today is before i drink the rest w/dinner maybe.

SoooooOoOo i hadn't weight myseff since my sugery...and my mom bought a scale...sooo on the scale i went..i was soo nervous...I've lots...drum roll please...20LBS!!!!!! omgosh that is so crazy...its okay been 9days since sugery. I think the celeberties are doing the wrong diet..the should all do liquid diets cause they seem to work.lol.

oh a very sad note....My supporter...my bestfriend..my boyfriend went back to school today. He goes to school in indiana while i go to school in Georgia...He was here all summer he was here for all my meetings and he's been w/ me everystep of this sugery.....and i'm sooo sooos ooo upset that he's gone again. I'll see him thanksgiving. maybe i can shock him 30 or more lbs lost. I hope so. i'm sure i can manage 30 more lbs..if i did 20 so fast...

Thats another thing...when i decided to have gastic banding i knew that it wasn't as fast as if i had had rny but i'm okay with that. I ULTIMATE goal is to be healthy again....and thats what i'm shooting for.

After waiting for what it seems soo long, my insurance has been approved and surgery scheduled for August 11, 2008. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time.
