NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS SKINNY FEELS..I MEAN NOTHING..NOT AN ICE CREAM, NOT A BOWL OF PASTA NOT A CANDY BAR, NOT CHIPS..NOTHING.....
BEING HEALTHY LASTS A LOT LONGER THAN THAT ICE CREAM CONE WILL!
PLUS TRYING ON JEANS WHEN YOUR THINNER IS A TON MORE REWARDING!

My Story

Hi, I'm Christine and I have been stuggling with my weight since I was about 21 years old. (GULP! 13 Years Ago)

I've been able to loose weight but can never keep it off. At one point right before I got married my highest was 190 and I was miserable. I was an active teenager and was always 150 (I'm 5'7) and did sports and could eat anything and not gain weight. If I could see into the future I would realize 190 is GREAT! Anyway, I had my son in 2001 and gained 85 pounds. When I got pregnant I was 180 when I gave birth I was 250. Over the next 2 years I got back down to 180 but I got there in an awful way. Diet pills, and not eating. Of course I did not keep if off and climbed up to 200 and then got preggo's with my daughter in 2003. She was born 6/27/04 and again I was up to 250. I lost about 20 pounds and then regained it and was never able to loose anything. I tried but had no will power. I was tired, moody and miserable.  That brought me to Dr. Tishler. I had my band put in 8/16/06 and have lost 60 pounds as of 4/07. I love the band and enjoy reading this board. I can't wait to be down to 190 again and will not feel miserable!

UPDATE: As of now I'm down to 176 and life is GREAT...I remember writing that last sentence above and I can't believe I'm there. I'm so grateful for this tool I have. I'm not perfect, the last 18 months have been a learing experience. Sometimes I don't make the best choices, I've even ate carbs before protein,  I've even had ice cream ...point being I think this has worked for me because there is room for error. I know if I eat crap food I will get crap results. I know if I don't eat my protein first I will be hungry sooner and want to eat. The band has given me all the things I was struggling for before surgery. If anyone reads this (I'm probaly the only one, but this is a great outlet for myself) please follow the rules they are there for a reason. This is a great tool let's have great success with it!
