    Kyle's (Cubankitten9) best friend Vickie called me at 3:15 Florida Time to let me know that she was out of surgery and doing well in recovery and would be moved to a room in a couple of hours once the anesthesia had worn off a bit. Dr Gagner was able to do the complete Duodenal Switch after he repaired her hernia and removed her failed Band. There was quite a lot of scar tissue that needed to be removed and dealt with, but her stomach tissue was in good enough shape to perform the sleeve gastrectomy portion of the DS which he wasn't sure about at yesterday's pre-op appointment. For now, all is well, despite the Tropical Storm Fay trying to get all of the attention and threatening to have her surgery bumped. Hurricane shmurricane.. I knew there was no way Kyle was going to let any one, or anything come between her and her Switch! When I have more information I'll update again, and definately keep the love, prayers, swinging poultry and other good vibes headed her way in Miami!
