Surgeon Testimonial

Dalton Prickett, M.D.
I really like Dr. Prickett and his staff, I have recommended him to those who have inquired about surgery. He is sincere but straight up about the surgery and it's dangers. He is very committed to his work, it shows that he cares very much about helping people. His staff is wonderful, I can't say enough about Judy Stuck. rnrnThe office program is outstanding, the team on staff, nutritionist, behavioral therapist, exercise therapist, etc is on point, and available anytime! Even years out!!! That's service at it's best.

Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! Your journey will have moments to “pause” - Feel free to look at my profile and see my ups and downs and know I’d not change a thing with anything I’ve experienced. Everything was worth it! – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)…Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly and take lots of pictures…the transformations will make your jaw drop!!! RNY 10/31/03 257/133 Good luck!

In the face of adversity.... KEEP GOING
on March 22, 2007 6:54 am
I am still swinging.  Even in the face of adversity (back injury two weeks ago) I am still trucking along.

I've had to adjust my workouts due to my back, but I have continued on not losing momentum.  :)  This week, I started up with my weight training more.  Pushups, tricep work, military presses and back rows, I really want to firm my arms up.   And I need to....

I have a new pics.... of some new clothes for the summer that I bought in my photo album. :)

Back into the swing of it
on March 8, 2007 6:15 am
I guess I am gonna start writing my updates on the blog section of this site. :)

Since Monday, I have officially gotten back into the swing of things, i.e. exercising.  That lead me to coming to a big re-realization: Accountability is all within yourself....  I have to be accountable to myself for not keeping up with my workouts as well as I should have for the past 3 months.  But that has changed.  I took the steps I needed to get back on the train.

Second re-realization - there are no excuses.... (I don't have children yet) however, I have come up with some really interesting excuses not to exercise.  Now, there are of course real excuses such as being very sick like having to take care of sick family members and things like that... but there comes a point when you can't live by excuses anymore.

Third realization - just do it... so cliche I know, but there is no time like NOW to get up and get moving.  And even though I have tried to think of an argument to that.... in all honesty, there isn't one.  haha

Spring and Summer are coming up... I have lost the weight, it's time to keep it off, tone up and FEEL and look great!!

Hence, I started running/walking this past Monday.... and even in the face of being soar, tired and stressed, I have gotten out there and pushed through it... and I feel wonderful.
