Lose about 100-120 and be back to my normal (15 years ago) weight.

So I saw my primary doc today for my last of the 6 month diet. I will put my request to submit to my surgeon's office on July 16th. Hopefully they will get the surgeon's office will get it by the end of the month. It can take between 1 to 4 weeks then they submit to insurance. I'm hoping the people that send the records don't have to alot to do and can get in the mail this week. Everything from here on out is truely a waiting game and it's not in my hands anymore. But believe me from what I've learned here on OH I will be making sure everyone gets done what they are supposed to do. Wish me luck.

 

Yes they made me start my six month diet over again from February. So it looks like I can't have the surgery until about August or Sept.

So I call my surgeon's office last Friday to make sure my clinic sent over a copy of my medical files. Well they did and so I asked if they had my Psych and Nut eval. Yes they had that too. So then I asked when they would be sending it off to insurance for approval. She opened my file and said that they were waiting for my six month diet. I said I already finished that in March. She said no because I had missed December and Jan. So what they will do is start me over from Feb. I said no I called and they said as long as it's 6 months. She said she didn't think so but she would call my insurance on Monday(today). I was so freaking busy today I had no spare moments that I could call them myself. Then by the time I got off everyone was gone. I could just scream. One because I may have to start over from February and 2 because the doctor I chose is already booking into July. That means I probably won't have this surgery until September or so. AHHHHHHHHH!. I go see my PCM tomorrow and I will have lots of time tomorrow to call my insurance. Wish me luck.

 My name is Candie and I've started my journey to weight loss. I currently weigh 264 but hope to get down to 150-165. Anything more than this will be way to thin. I haven't been normal in about 15 years. I'm tired of the stares, glares and comments from others. I hate clothes shopping and hope to change that as well. I have 2 beautiful daughters 6 and 5 years of age and I want to enjoy shopping with them instead of dreading it.  I have 2 boys 17 and 10 and with all my kids I hope to be more active with all of them. Instead of on the sidelines, maybe I can help coach them. My husband has never seen me at a normal weight and being in the military he is fit and deserves to have someone fit right next to him. I love swimming and going to the beach and have ever since I was a baby( learned to swim at 6 months old) and can't stand the looks I get now when I go so that is something I'm looking forward to again. I love this OH site and it's members and I thank you all for the support that you show everyone.
