Surgeon Testimonial

Bryan Freeman
So far, I am highly impressed with Dr. Freeman and his staff. They were very informative, and treated each patient as they had known them for years. rnDr. Freeman, was very open with explaining how the procedure would go, and answered all questions that was asked. rnAs for his staff, they are great. Joyce was super for the way she explained things at the conference.rnBut the person who has been my Mentor up to this point is, Beverly Hollingsworth. She is fantastic. With her help, she is the one who has made all this happen for me.rnThank You Beverly.

Well, I weighed yesterday morning and weighed 199 lbs. I finally got to see what it looked like on the scales to be below 200. yeehaw....finally.
I have lost 110lbs since Aug. 2008 and have lost 96 pounds since Sept. 25th 2008...day of my surgery.  I have not lost the 100lbs I thought I would have by now, but with my weight slowing down, it has given all that SKIN time to adjust and shrink some...lol...
This is the best thing I have ever done for myself. I even wore a dress this past tuesday. And felt real good in it.
I still have bout 54lbs to lose to reach my goal....
wonder if I will reach it, or does it stop before I get there.
Oh well, I am HAPPY......

I have made some wonderful friends on here, and I would like to THANK each and everyone of you... and also to everyone who sent me encouragement and told me they were keeping me in their prayers.
GOD has blessed me with all of ya'll and he will BLESS ya'll to.
I love all of ya'll and will continue to ask GOD  to bless each one of us as we become new people on the outside, as well on the inside.

Hello all,
Well weighed in this morning and weighed in 219... I am suppose to be at 195 by the 25Th of this month, but don't guess I will make it.... Not sure why I have this problem, but I am happy for what I have lost...
I have so many Plato's, but it could be because I don't get in enough protein, and have not gotten in enough exercise....
The weather is getting better, so I will be walking a lot more, also, I am fixing to be a new GRANDMOTHER, and my daughter and I will be walking up a storm....lol
Everyone please PRAY, that this baby will be OK. We lost their first baby Oct. 06, so I have asked GOD to bless them with this baby, and let it be healthy.
Everyone have a very blessed nite.

My Story

Hi everyone, not sure where to start, but here goes.
My name is Debi, I live in Ga. and I'm 53 years old. I am 3/4 Cherokee Indian and very proud of my heritage.
I am the mother of 3 handsome sons, ages 33, 27, 23 and one beautiful daughter that is almost 21.
After I had my babies, my weight stayed around 190 to 200. I was ok with this size, and still looked good, even tho I wished I could be back around 145. But, we don't always get what we wish for...lol
In 1989, my husband fell 55 ft. off top of a 3 story house.  He lived, but I turned all my attention toward him, and quit taking care of myself.  He could walk, talk, drive and all like before, but things were still different.  As years went on, his mentality keep going down hill and more was put on my shoulders to carry. I now was head of the house, and responsible for making all decisions. Now by this time, I weighed in about 260 or so. Then in 2000, my father got ill, and we moved from Panama City, Fl., to Trenton, Ga.
Between my father being ill and passing away 11-02-01,  (we are a real close knit family), to finding out in 2002, my husband,  on top of all his problems with the fall, had ""HUNTINGTONS DISEASE"".  I was up  to 280. In MAY of 2006, my darling husband "EDDY" passed away.  Within 6 months, I had gained up to 338. Dang, didn't take it long to get up that high. Boy was I surprised. I look like a fat potato with a little head stuck on top...lol
Over the years I have tried all kinds of diet. But would lose, then gain it all back, plus more.  As time has moved ahead, I now have diabetes, high blood pressure, waddle when I walk, and stay tired all the time. Now, when I try to lose weight, it seems like I gain instead of losing...
By the way, sweets did not make me fat... It was ""FRENCH FRIES"" If I got stressed out, I eat F.F., and it seemed like I was stressed out all the time. So now you know why I look like a fat tater with a small head...lol
Well, not sure what else to say, except for " THANK GOD FOR DR. FREEMAN AND HIS STAFF." AND TO BEVERLY HOLLINGSWORTH, AN EXTRA THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME.
Oh yea, forgot to mention that I have already went to seminar on Aug. 7th, 08,  had a pulmonary test, seen a neurologist passed both test and now my surgery is going to be on "SEPT. 25TH, 08" .
After studying everything I could get my hands on since Nov. 1999, and have tried everyway I could to have this surgery, it now seems like a dream. One I pray to "JESUS" up above, will not vanish from happening.
Will do my best to do everything I am suppose to do and follow Dr. Freemans instructions.
I go on the 18th of Sept. 08 for pre-registration, so all please pray for me that all goes well.
will post more later.
