Help I am drowning

I am drowning in self pitty today I think. I should be one of the happiest guys on the planet....My weight is melting off like butter.....I have dropped almost 50 lbs since surgery.....But I cant eat drink or any thing. I need some guidance on what to do. I eat just a couple bites of anything and then im done.....i do not care for it again. I can not drink the protein shakes anymore....the simple smell of it makes me want to puke.....I am stuck eating these vitamins that taste like pure crap now...How do we get over this hump i am in? I just feel miserable.....does this ever end and if so when? I cant hardly take this....

My Story

To start out with I was never the type of person to worry about my weight....I was a big guy I guess if you call 310 big. I started this journey because of my health. I had High blood pressure, sugar diabeties (type2) the fat peoples diabeties. I am proud to say today I have met my goals already. I am cured from high blood pressure and diabeties. Having Bariatric surgery was probably the best thing that could have ever happened to me although I do feel miserable sometimes. I guess because I will never eat that big ass Rib eye or eat a piece of Chocolate cake.....I have found out now that I do Like food and always did, just didnt realize it. I have found this to be a real learning time for me and my body. I am taking the weight loss as an added plus to this whole thing. Going out to eat now is completely different for me. It is a four piece chicken tender meal from Micky D's......i just try to eat the 4 chicken tenders.....not always successful. I do have a great wife who has been nothing but supportive through out this whole process. I just hope and prey that I get out of this rut that I am in soon.....
