Surgeon Testimonial

David Provost, M.D.
Doctor Provost is AWESOME. The only downfall is the 4 month waiting list to get your initial consult. Doctor Provost answers ALL your questions and he is very patient. I heard he writes great letters to normally difficult insurance places and gets them to approve. We shall see! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. His staff is great! He was very thorough about what to expect concerning risks and his after care program. Fantastic Bedside manner.

DECEMBER 10, 2003

OK, I am scared, excited, nervous and elated all at once!

My husband came into a Christmas bonus and he calls me up and says, "How would you like to have an 'extreme' makeover." I said, "What do you mean?"

He is taking his hard earned bonus and getting me a much needed breast lift and augmentation at the same time as my tummy tuck. He had already called and arranged the fee with our surgeon! OMG! What a wonderful guy! He could have put a down payment on a new Harley which he is wanting badly!

He is having his breasts reduced and a full body lift. We were gonna wait till summer for me to have my breast reconstruction since they look like this: ./ ./ because we are self pay. Too bad they couldn't add to me what they take off of David chest!

The surgeon called me up and said... "we need to know what size you want so we can order it for your surgery in 3 weeks." Ummmm.. I guess a "C"??????? David says "What about a double D!" NO WAY!!!!!! I want them to look like this: (*) (*) NOT ( * ) ( * ) ~!!!!. I made sure I ordered saline and not silicone. They will do it under the muscle too... whew.....

Now I know I am gonna be in so much pain! Our surgeon is doing it for quite a deal since we are giving him so much business just with the 2 of us within a week of each other.

I am a bit scared because I interpret for the deaf and I am hoping to be back to work in 3 weeks.. and that was just with the tummy tuck. I hope I can use my arms and stuff and not be off work any longer than I have to. My job means the world to me and I already hate that I am missing the first week of school already and leaving them short an interpreter.

HAS anyone had a breast reconstruction, augmentation and a tummy tuck and pubic lift at the same time????????? He assures me that the recovery time will be the same. Well.. one good thing, I hear the boob surgery is pretty painful so maybe that wont make me hurt so bad with the tummy tuck!

Man... talk about a dream come true! I can finally be proud of my chest and not be in complete disgust when I look at them. I wouldn't even have a cup size if it wasn't for the loose skin! They will also do an armpit tuck at the same time as the breast reconstruction. I have just a little flap of skin near the armpit that wont go away so he will make a small incision at the armpit to tuck it in. I am so scared because all 3 of my surgeries have been done laparoscopicaly. I have NEVER been sliced open anywhere!

Thank you so much to my dear hubby!!!! Of course I am sure there are ulterior motives to this as he will get to enjoy them too!

Wow... still in disbelief. This will be like my own extreme makeover. Sheesh.. weeks before surgery and I find out that I get additional surgery. Now I gotta mentally prepare myself for both upper body and lower body to be in pain! I keep telling myself that those people on extreme makeover make it through, so that means I should too .. right?

Wow.. Merry Christmas to me! Talk about a Happy New year with a new body! I cant wait to take before and after pictures... no one ever believes how bad my skin is.
